Functional Business Network (Packet Tracer)
This is a functional business network I developed in Packet Tracer. The bottom two PCs (Accounting and Sales), represent employee groups which are each connected to their own switch. Those two switches (Switch0 and Switch2) are connected to the business' router which is connected to Switch1, and Switch1 is connected to Server0. Each of these connections (black lines) interconnect each device on the network, enabling them to transfer data amongst themselves. The switches determine where data is to be transferred by referring to the originating and destination IP addresses; each device is configured with its own IP address.
The point of this assignment was to demonstrate connectivity (the green arrows) between the switches, workstations, router, and server. In order to do so, I had to complete basic networking procedures on each connection, like configuring the devices and assigning individual IP addresses. For more details, view my YouTube video below.
